I always use a big trailie when touring. the upright position means you can travel all day and still move when you stop. Have travelled allover Europe on a honda dominator and an Africa twin,(not at the same time before someone jumps in) never had a problem, except a fried battery. Preparing the bike well is essential. enjoy, but take care
