Motorised valve is stuck

I have been told that my motorised valve is stuck open causing the heated ladder radiator to stay on 24hrs/day. Where could this switch be located, I would at least like to try and switch it off before replacing it. Any ideas?

From the way you worded your question I would think you have absolutely no idea of actually what is wrong and how to fix the fault.To save a lot of heartache i would get a heating engineer to ID and remedy the fault.To replace a motorised valve or its powerhead is not difficult but things can go wrong if you don't have the tools/skills to do it.You don't simply switch it off.
