Mould resistant paint only comes in a few colours, has any tried to over paint it and what did it turn out like ?

You can get mould resistant paint tinted to most any colour you wish. The problem is that you may find yourself limited to some of the more expensive brands and a larger minimum quantity (e.g. 5L).

Have a look at Dulux Trade Mouldshield Fungicidal Matt / Eggshell. I am reasonably sure that these are their trade correspondents to the bathroom / ktichen paint (eggshell). They will tint these to any colour, but it is likely to set you back maybe 70? pounds per 5 litres.

As for painting over mould resistant paint ... only done that with "bathroom" eggshell paint. Never had a problem. The fungicide makes no difference to subsequent adhesion. Just lightly sand, wipe clean, and do you next coat.

However, I would suggest that if you have a mould problem that you focus on treating that with specialist products first, e.g. use a quality mould killer and then a good primer / sealer. I have found in the past that mould has a way of finding its way back unless you really focus on killing and sealing before proceeding with decorating.

I've painted over it a few times, never had a problem.

I also recommend kgk advice on looking at the source of a mould problem.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply, I think the source of mould was condensation mainly from the previous tenants, I have since treated the mould and I intent to repaint with alkali resistant primer then repaint with emulsion any thoughts ?
