The missus wants her bathroom moving round (the week after I plumb a new shower in!!)

If this has worked, there is a crude pic of our bathroom, done on paint. Its not to scale, just to help my ramblings a bit

Basically, she wants the bath moving from where it is, to run along the back wall, with the sink then moved next to the toilet.

Ok, have no problems doing it. However am abit unsure of the load bearin for the bath. along the back wall, the weight wont be spread across the joists as it currently is. Was thinking if I ran strips of wood over the floor boards for the legs to stand on this will help spread the load and support the bath so we dont crash into the kitchen.

Will this work? Is there another method, or am I destined to be bathing ontop of the cooker if I do it?!

Not sur eow to upload images to the thread, so heres the link

Cheers in advance for any help

many baths don't sit on joists like yours is now they only sit on the last two like where your bath will be.
i useally use 2x4 timber under the legs anyway
