I've recently moved into a first floor studio flat. It's a converted victorian house. There is a Gas Emergency Control Valve located in the living room in an inconvenient area. I was wondering it it's possible to have the control valve moved? What is possible? And how expensive would it be to do?

I would say it’s possible, however it will likely be expensive. It would depend on where it enters from too, if it enters through the floor, then a re-route may be needed.

is your meter outside and this is an additional emergency control valve just as pipe enters the flat

If it is after the meter it will be a reasonable cost as any RGI can do it.

If before then expensive as only the gas transporter can do it and that is usually quite expensive.
