Hi,
We have recently bought a new kitchen and during the planning of the kitchen we decided that it would be a better layout if we moved an internal door between the living-room and kitchen.

I asked Berkshire planning department if I needed planning aproval and their answer was no, but it may need building regs, and said that they would forward my request.
I assumed that "needing building regs" meant building regulation approval.
I have also contacted them by email, but no reply.
I was going to fill out a form but it seems geared towards detailing extentions, and doesnt seem to fit with what I am doing.
Do you think I need to press to get an answer, or just go ahead and move the door?
Cheers
Michael.
