Guys,
Having our combi boiler moved from kitchen into garage.
Is it best to get it secured directly to the brick wall or have some sort of wooden frame built for it. The reason I ask is that at the moment it is bolted directly to the kitchen wall & when its on at night the noise from it seems to travel upstairs.
Thanks

Ideally bolted to the wall.
Can be anywhere in the garage though.
Perhaps the bearing in the fan are going creating the noise.

Be very careful removing the flue from the wall or you will need a new flue.
