Evening Y'all

Am moving home in a few weeks. I currently have a desktop Dell. The wife wants to switch to wireless in the new place.

I don't particularly want to run two puters, and would like to transfer lots of domestic data, i.e. pictures, letters, plans, minicam clips, e-mails etc to the new laptop. Are memory sticks the best way or is there a better method?

Cheers

Perhaps a crossover cable? Connect the two computers together with it then drag and drop??

a NAS drive?

basically an external hard drive, copy all the stuff via USB/network onto it, plug it into the router at your new gaff, all the important stuff is on the NAS, not floating around on the laptop...
