hi everyone, my friends just moved house and got a couple of problems we hope you might be able to help with.He has a baxi combi 80 and it,s running fine, heating and water but the pressure gauge reads 3.5 bar and the instructions say operating pressure should be between 1 and 2.5.What could cause the pressure to be higher, and is it safe to use. Second problem is the toilet system, filled and flushed ok at night, next morning would not fill after flushing. The taps are working at the sink and bath but no water is going into the toilet. There is a brayded hose from a isolating valve to the toilet inlet, could this be a fault, cannot understand why it stopped , hope someone,s got idea,s.cheers

Make sure your filling loop is off and disconnected from the boiler. Let out some water via a drain valve to bring the pressure down and see if the pressure rises when the heating is on.
If still rising, suspect your pressure vessel needs attention. :(

Undo your braided hose (water off) from the toilet and switch water back on for 2 seconds, directing the hose into a bucket. If water comes out then suspect your float valve or water inlet needs attention. :D
