I am redecorating and want to move the radiator that has been placed on the chimney breast and change it for a smaller unit to fit under the window in our bedroom about ten feet away. I have an an Ideal boiler with water tank etc.
I moved from a flat recently that had a combi boiler and would have had no problem. The fact that this place has a big old Ideal boiler with tank etc. puts me on my guard though. Therefore any advice would be apreciated and if possible a blow by blow step through just great.
Whilst I am on the site I know at some point I will get a combi fitted and replace all the plumbing. Pipes are all different sizes and quite likely the mains will be lead. What are the thoughts on going completely pvc top to bottom. Pipes that is not my attire.
