I’m trying to plan a kitchen extension and before I approach builder/architects I want to sanity check a few things.
I’ve attached an image, essentially the sink would move from its current location, only about a metre, but the water inlet and sink waste would need to move. With a block and beam floor, would this be difficult to do (ie add significant cost)?
Another similar problem is the internal soil pipe which is bang in the middle of the wall we’d want to open up. Again, is this something that could be relocated, or again would it add significant cost and be impractical?
We are considering adding a utility room (part of the original kitchen) in an area with no waste piping (washer), water supply not an issue was will be plumbed from above but would this be a case of opening up the flooring to find a pipe to plumb into?
