I am currently planning to try and sort out my driveway/access. On this side of the house there is an upstairs bathroom which has a soil stack to which the toilet, bath and sink all drain into.
The ground floor kitchen currently has a pipe which leads to a clay gully about 1m away from the soil stack, with the pipe actually passing behind the soil stack. The gully is currently covered with a broken concrete slab and keeps getting blocked with the pebbles the previous occupants covered the driveway with.
My question is, whether I am able to move the kitchen waste pipe and attach it to the soil stack at the ground floor level.
Furthermore if I can do this then the gully would no longer be used and what are the rules about covering this gully in order to try use this space as a driveway etc....
