Hi, I need to move the toilet in my 1940s bungalow by about 550mm. Construction is a concrete pad with low level supported wooden floor, from top of concrete pad to top of floorboard is around 270mm. I haven't managed to get to the pipe as it come up through the pad as once the toilet is out it aint going back and its the only one in the house.
IF I am able to neatly cut the clay soil pipe at ground ish level, how/what would you use to allow it to be extended 550mm??
I have seen this thread https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/toilet-move.623031/
but I think I'm slightly different as I'm assuming the pipe comes through the concrete pad so cant get deeper. Is 270mm enough height to make that work?
This is what I see when looking under the floor towards were the soil pipe is......doesn't help much
Thanks!
