Moving Washing Machine - Waste Pipe

As part of a kitchen refit, I'm planning on moving the washing machine from it's posistion beside the sink to the opposite wall.

The waste inlet is current;y right beside the sink so I wonder if anyone can advise if it's as simple as running an extended waste pipe round the edge of the walls and feeding it into the same inlet?

Grateful for any advice. If you need any more info then please ask.
