Mud sticking to shovel.

Can anyone tell me what you can put on a shovel to keep the mud from sticking to it?I heard that there is something you can put on it ,but I have forgotten what it is.Thanks Nelena

Have you tried dipping the shovel in a bucket of water after every few digs?
Remember to start with a clean shovel
