I have used the bosch gold drill bits and they are of good quality.

If you aren't going to use them in masonry you should get a reasonable life out of them. It's concrete that sh8gs drill bits out. Not dear at a tenner.

I've got a set they seem ok but to be honest all I ever use is a long 6.5 masonry drill for brown plugs and a long 5.5 masonry drill for red plugs.

The people who market drills don't have to fix things to walls or they would not bother selling 6mm and 7mm.

Standard masonry drills will drill through a wooden noggin on hammer should it be required and tiles with hammer off after a hand turn to break the glaze.

So to sum up that drill set is unnecessary and incorrectly sized for real walls.
