Multifuel stove flue connection pipe

Hi
I have fitted my registery plate and about to fit the flue but I was wondering if the the flue pipe seats on the stove and then you seal it into the registery plate or you have to seal into the stove as well ??

As I suspected the flue does need to be sealed to stop the gas getting into the room, You must use fire rope wrapped around the bottom of the flue that connects to the stove and then use fire cement to seal it further the same procedure as for the register plate.
