Hi
Can anyone please tell me if straight soil pipes are universal as I installed a new toilet and I have a slight leak on the pan joint. I have been reading the threads and i see a mention of 14 degrees what that?
Please help I've had no toilet for 3 days

It depends on the angle of your dangle. Use what fits.
But pan spigots these days are all meant to be the same.
I'm not a fan of Multiqwiks; other makes do seem to seal better, like polyplumb, though they're uglier, and the male end is harder to get down into a soil pipe because it rides up.

There's some shapes and sizes here, and another maker:

If anything having raised the floor slightly with new boards it is straight, Is there a knack to putting these on? I e-mailed multiqwik and they say make sure all flanges and outer edge of pan side to face inwards, but the old multiqwik one I took off did not have the last flange (the one nearest the pan) turned inward.
