I paint murals for kids rooms. And iam in confusion about whats the best paint to use ; acrylic or matt silk tester pots. Aycrilic is pretty expensive , and testers are more reasonable but what is the preferred type used by the proffesional painter and decorator.

would it not depend on what surface you are painting on to?

also quality costs if they want a good job and the best paint is expensive, tough.

I wouldnt use testers...go in a trade centre and ask for 200 ml smaple pots..then can do em in any colour you fancy.

For protect give the walls two coats of matt emulsion glaze
