Hi everyone,
Just wondered if I could have some advice please. I have a myson apollo 50 boiler which was working ok last night. Today the pilot isn't lit and this has happened before but always got it working, today however after trying everything on the instructions we cannot get it to light at all. My landlord although a great one is away until next week, I have a 5 day old baby here and need the heating. Is there anything I could possibly try? I don't really have money upfront to pay a plumber although if it comes to it we'll try to find it but wondered if anyone had any ideas at all before I pull my hair out! Many thanks Karen

Does the pilot light at all? When you are trying to light it can you see the flame?

If the gas is on then it could just be the spark lead/generator thats gone..... unfortunately I dont want to be telling you to remove cases etc

Yes the gas is on, and it's ok to ask best to check the obvious first lol. Also, it was checked about a month ago and was given the ok.
