My name is...

Never understood Daniel Craig, always thought he looks like he has just been slapped in the face with a big fat
A few years ago, we were staying at Lake Como. We visited Villa del Balbianello where James Bond recuperated (Daniel Craig) in one of the films. It’s a private villa previously owned by an heir to a very rich man. He was a bit of an adventurer and had mementos to his tripe to the North Pole and Mount Everest. When he died, he left it to the state and it is kept in the same condition as when he died. Anyway, the lady guide told us about the time it was used in the Bond film and she said "all I am going to say about Daniel Craig is that the camera is very kind to him".

OMG

Re Mottie ....the lady guide said "all I am going to say about Daniel Craig is that the camera is very kind to him".

I heard that the directors were also kind to him, not permitting him to exit the sea on film with his chicken legs. Hopefully he`s upped his VitD3 & K2 Mk-7 intake & had the best red light therapy, since breaking his ankle. Poor chap`s a bit fragile.

He could`ve used my legs as a double. Quick spray tan & job`s a gudun

He's quite wrinkly for a man not yet drawing a pension. But of course he was much younger when he started.

He used to be a smoker, which will contribute to his haggard face and tired eyes.

Idris Elba should do it...FACT.
He can't do it.
He is black.
It would be cultural appropriation.
What would the reaction be if Tom Hiddleston played Nelson Mandela or Christopher Biggins wanted to play Diana Dors.
It just wouldn't work.
Nothing racist or misogynistic in my post.
Just common sense.

if it were a bbc production I would have money on a black one legged lesbian who prays to the east - that would tick all those virtue signalling boxes and we could all feel morally superior

Only the first few early James Bond films were based on Ian Fleming's novels.
The James Bond character is a fictional character.
Both Nelson Mandela and Diana Dors were not fictional characters.
Amazon/MGM Studios who now own the franchise have ruled out a female actor for the role of James Bond, but the consideration of an alternative ethnicity for the role has not been addressed.

The role of M has been played by a woman, whereas the role of Q has not, even though both characters in Ian Fleming's novels were male.

Has your lampooning of such characters made you feel morally superior?
