Needing to clear my garage as it will soon be an annexe for my mother, but before doing so, need to tackle the rear garden.
Due to PP and BRegs needed to build up to my boundary and thus mainly of non-combustible material. So a metal workshop it was to be.
Ordered bespoke made to my requirements of 23' x 12' as i will want to get my other shed to fit alongside.
So a whole new slab across the width of the garden rather than just for the size of the workshop was needed.
On furlough, so start digging.

With new builds going on around me, was sick of seeing different fencing styles.

The original kerb edging from an old garden design was still in place. Since it was all level, it made the perfect individual slabs.

Diggin down faily deep allowed me to get rid of hardcore from the front garden (another project coinciding) and then to allow for about 6" concrete slab.

Those mobile shelving came into use. My multi purpose mobile workbench!! Made to same height as my saw, but can also be used as standalone workbench and move around as needed. Then put away to one side when not. Later pics will see it adapted as it became a nuisance.

Recycling a lot of hoarded stuff. The metal legs for both work stations are raised flooring stands and i've had lying around for 10yrs. But finally found a reason to use them. The workstation are both made to same height as planer and router table and allow me to pass through up to 2.5m lengths. I also soon find other stuff in my garage to adapt these tables..........

The remainder of insulation gets me just under half way on the ceiling, so will need about 7 more sheets. My multi purpose mobile workbench has been mullered with the left over shelving fitted to the wall.

The lucky irony is my work place was getting rid of the table saw, router, planer, bandsaw and couple other items inc dust extractor for only £350 squid. But his arm off. Sold my nearly new table saw for £300 so the stuff you see only owes me 50 squid.

Metal sheets were again hoarded and managed to use on most surfaces. Expect to get wood lathe soon to go on work bench under red shelving
