Myson Apollo boiler: Loss of hot water

The problem is still there :x , well... I have not replaced the BV but removed the thermostat inside and blocked the cold water coming into it (now it works like straight connection!!). Now, I loose hot water in seconds and it seems that the water coming out of tank gets cold very rapidly (could be felt by touching the connection).
Could this be the boiler fault?
