Had a couple of problems and decided its time to go! Can anyone suggest a good quality replacment boilrer. Dont want a combi so its a straight swap but as we have built an extension will need to take the ouput up a few notches. Thx Mike.

Ed the Vokera Mynute open vented is a good replacement for your appliance, top or bottom pipes & a rear fan flue is also available.

We've fitted 100's & not one has missed a beat. So call in a few Gas Safe time-served RGIs for quotes.
Good luck & I hope that's been some help big chap.

My Apollo is 20 years old and Im keeping it. I guess if I have a modern condensing boiler installed it could save me £30 -£50 a year on gas. The pay back on supply and instalation could take 10 years? However before that event I would probably need another replacement. That,s after spending a fortune on repairs. You know "sorry mate the boards gone, that'll be £400 please.
Keep getting the Apollo repaired there is no electronics

A very good point 'snug', they are great wee boilers & if serviced regular it'll last for years.

viessmann 26 compact.5 years parts and labour warrantry, even if not installed by a viessmann approved installer.10 years on the heat ex.small enough for a kitchen cupboard.
