Myson CH Pump

Just got back from hol. and find that my CH Pump has expired.

Its a Myson SD SMC 53 (pretty old ..guess original fitment so 15+ years ago) rating plate says .49A and 115 watts. Is the equivalent a 15/50 or a 15/60 please.

I happen to have one of each (new) kicking around in the garage..I'll fit the 15/50 now.

make sure you bleed it and spin the shaft

they have a habit of sticking after storage

Thanks..did all that and system is working.

Had a problem getting pump connections undone though..eventually had to drain some of the system..and remove the pump and associated pipework...in the vice..heat on the nuts and then big stilsons...
