Hello,

One of the bleeding valves has sheared off one of my radiators. It is a Premier HE Panel Radiator (Double Panel 'Xtra). Not an issue until I need to drain the system, but does this mean a new radiator?

Radiator is 4 years old.

Also, my central heating system (sealed system) is very slowly losing pressure at the moment - 0.1 bar over a few days. Is this something to worry about?

Thanks for any help.

Phil

Unfourtinatley, yes. You'll need a new radiator if the system ever has to be fully drained.

The minor pressure drop is nothing to worry about, as long as you haven't seen any signs of water and/or water damage anywhere. It could be a slight leak, or could have been caused by air in the system. :)

David. ;)
