The planning authorities have asked for a "nailing schedule" to suppoprt my proposals for a kitchen extension. Apart from a piece of paper saying "you bang the nails in with a hammer" I don't have a clue what they are talking about. Any suggestions?

I guess it could be something rude  , or it could be asking for the proposed spacing between nails (?)

I would ask them.

Be interested to find out.

Regards,

P.J.

But Planning Authorities have no interest in HOW it's done, just what it will look like.

Perhaps this was a request from 'Building Control'?

If it's for regs, then it may be to do with hangers and trimmers (where one timber is supported by another by butting up and fixing)

Most unusual for planning to take an interest in Blg. Regs. Nailing Schedules are most often reqd. for timber frame construction or devices such as hangers and straps etc.
Can you post the relevant "cut and paste" from the original request? The context might reveal a little more.

All very useful guys, thanks. I think distance between nails, nail sizes and stuff like that is probably what they want. I was hoping for an example to work from but I guess I'll just have to make it up.
