Nails or Screw to hold roof beams to wall plate on Garage

My Roof on my garage is a flat roof which i have 4x2 wall plate on top of the concrete bock wallwork. im putting ijoist as my roof beams with ply ontop of them, what should i use Screws or Nails to hold the beams to the top plate? they will be 4 inch whatever i use as the roof plate is 2" and so is the bottom of the ibeam.

whats the best type of nails to use i guess stainless or galvansied any type?

3"nails,and maybe a couple of straps from the plate down the walls.

Yes i already have 1000mm straps every 3m
