Hi I want to change the old shower in our house and the pipes are set at 135mm and it seems most newer showers are set at 150mm. Can i buy a part ( i think I can ) that offsets the pipes so a newer shower valve can be fitted. If so what's it called and any idea where i can get some.

The system is a thermostatic shower fed by a pump system.

Thanks
Cliff

The two pipes just come out of the wall through the tiles and the shower is fitted to them. I dont have a picture with me as at work but can add one tonight.

If you only have 2 pipes out the wall you won't alter them only by moving 1.

The only adjustable fittings are doglegs and you don't have them fitted.

Now I know it sounds stupid but I have not taken it off the wall yet so dont know if I have them already. That should have been the first thing i did, but just did a quick search for doglegs and yes thats what I am after.

Thanks very much for the quick replies

Dog legs are ok if your new shower is a bar mixer as they have 3/4" threads.
But to fix them to existing pipework still means removing tiles etc to fit.

I think I need to turn the water off and remove if to see exactly what i have.
