National Grooming Gangs Inquiry Announced

Casey reports the ethnicity of grooming gangs was avoided because far-right groups make a meal of the issue and distort the data to fit in with their narrative, which is misleading at best, and wilfully inciting at its worst. It'll be interesting to find a clearer presentation of the data when the ethnicity is taken into account in future.
And then what do we actually do with the findings. Abhorrent it is, but all sorts of groups and ethnicities will be top of the list for different things. Deport them if they are not British citizens, but if they are, what do we do about it.

The simplest solution is to use Occam's Razor... and cut off their balls with it.

Trying to pretend
Yes I've seen that...
"It is not white British males committing the majority of rape abuse against kids, via rape gangs. There are plenty of official reports confirming this and I have posted them for the forum idiots to appraise themselves of..."

Show a shred of data, a report excerpt, clip or chart that shows your bullshìt post is anywhere in tge vicinity of truth.

White gang rape offences 2023 83%. 2024 83% boyo.

More evidence that "...It is not white British males committing the majority of rape abuse against kids, via rape gangs"

she has found continued failure to gather proper robust national data, despite concerns being raised going back very many years. In the local data that the audit examined from 3 police forces they identify clear evidence of over-representation among suspects of Asian and Pakistani-heritage men. And she refers to “examples of organisations avoiding the topic altogether for fear of appearing racist or raising community tensions”.

We've seen all these reports already. I posted links in the previous thread.

Nosenout wont appologise for being wrong again, he never does.

More Evidence:

there is enough evidence available in local police data in three police force areas which we examined which show disproportionate numbers of men from Asian ethnic backgrounds amongst suspects for group-based child sexual exploitation, as well as in the significant number of perpetrators of Asian ethnicity identified in local reviews and high-profile child sexual exploitation prosecutions across the country, to at least warrant further examination.

Denso and Nosenout - should take note, they've been deceived by their own lack of understanding :
Instead of examination, we have seen obfuscation. In a vacuum, incomplete and unreliable data is used to suit the ends of those presenting it.
The system claims there is an overwhelming problem with White perpetrators when that can’t be proved.
Instead, flawed data is used repeatedly to dismiss claims about ‘Asian grooming gangs’ as sensationalised, biased or untrue

Will they apologise for being wrong, or will they repeat their incorrect and dishonest claims?

The author of the report has put it quite well:

The public must “keep calm” over the ethnicity of grooming gang offenders, the author of a high-profile report has urged, saying police data from one region suggested that the race of child abuse suspects was proportional with the local population.

The comments from Louise Casey came as Kemi Badenoch, the Conservative leader, defended herself from claims that she was attempting to politicise the scandal of the organised rape of girls by men across dozens of towns over at least 25 years.

Lady Casey's report on Monday found evidence of “over-representation” of Asian and Pakistani heritage men among suspects of “group sexual exploitation” of children, according to data from three police forces.

Casey told MPs on Tuesday that she was concerned that the limited data available on the race and ethnicity of offenders was not being used responsibly as part of the public debate on grooming gangs.

She said the report examined data from Greater Manchester police (GMP), which covers towns including Rochdale and Oldham where convicted grooming gangs operated.

“If you look at the data on child exploitation, suspects and offenders, it is disproportionately Asian heritage,” she said. “If you look at the data for child abuse, it is not disproportionate and it is white men.

“So just a note to everybody, outside here rather than in here, let’s just keep calm about how you interrogate data and what you get from it.”

oh look a bunch of random quotes with no link to show where they came from

Yep CSE / CSA data - 99% irrelevant. Some of us have known this for a while.

Seems reasonable, hopefully the data will improve going forward.

What exactly is it you want to happen?

I think the reason these debates get so heated (in general not just on here :)) is the perceived lack of objectivity. Here's what I mean by that. Of course, the grooming gang scandal is exactly that, a scandal. And if ethnicity data had been collated across all police forces (part of the scandal) over past years and showed the same thing (disproportionately Asian/Pakistani men) then even more so, of course it's something that needs discussed and addressed.

However, let's say it is addressed. Let's say five years from now the number of Asian/Pakistani grooming gangs is near zero, with hardly any girls being abused this way. That problem has been largely solved let's say.

Is everyone then going to turn their attention to the remaining types of abuse? Are you for example going to be posting on here saying how abhorrent it is that white men are sexually abusing kids? Will there be a demand for a Louise Casey type report? Will white men and women be out on the streets protesting about white men and women who are sexually abusing kids? Will you?

Rightly or wrongly, the perception of some is that this (the grooming gang) abuse is somehow worse because it has been perpetrated by non white men.

It's ALL wrong. it's ALL abhorrent. And as I keep on saying, if the police and legal system treated EVERYONE the same, we'd never have got into this situation in the first place.
