In my house, one door frame is so narrow the sides of the door have been cut down so much, that there is only about 50mm to play with to fit the handles and latches.
I'd already bought a set of handles with a tubular latch with a 60mm backset which I then realised was too long.
I can't seem to find any normal tubular latches online with really short backsets, ideally 30mm would just about work. Does such a thing exist? 44mm is the shortest I've found so far...
Currently there is a roller catch on the door, but I'd like to replace it with something that allows the door to be closed really quietly as it's the door on my baby son's room.
Cheers
