Anyone able to give me advice on a weeding product to clear about 200 sq yards of heavy weeds and nettles please ? Looking to clear it all out over the next couple of months, flatten it out over the winter and then put some grass down on it next year.

treat all the weeds with a systemic weedkiller that will get down and kill the roots. Give it several applications now while its growing. Then strim them down and cover the ground with some thick black polythene. If you rotovate it all you will do is bring more seeds to the surface and chop up the roots of weeds such as bindweed, which will multiply your problem.

Just a small point, the best time to sow a lawn is octoberish, so you have time to do it this year.
