Need advice on a central heating install.

Ok, i have just moved into a housing assocation flat, a month previous the housing had new radiators and boiler fitted in the flat, the floor is big mdf panels or similar.

They have sawed a bit off the panels where they have needed access all over the flat, say 2ft by 2ft so they can install pipes etc, then they have simply put the bit of panel they removed back down, I would of thought they should have lifted a whole panel and put it back down instead of cutting it to bits.

Problem is now the join in the mdf panel they have sawn for access is obviously not supported, causing movement and loud creaking, and most of it is in the hall and high traffic routes.

So what i am asking is do i have an issue here where i can get the housing to sort it, i am worried that in time it will become worse and eventually a hazard, aswell as the load bearing capicity over these cuts will be reduced.

Or is this the normal procedure for installs by contractors?

Those chipboard panels are usually 8'x2' so you have to chop em to gain access to the underfloor area, when you put them back you should put batons across the board to support the edges. Get the housing association back to do this.
