Need electric advice

As has been asked, what about the ('space') heating, water heating and shower(s) if./when there is no gas?
Im not sure probably gas. But electric cooker
I'm a bit confused, since you originally wrote ;;;
.... All gas is getting removed ....
Can you clarify what the actual situation is?

Kind Regards, John
Edit: Ah, missed flameport's post - but at least we both said/asked the same thing!

At the moment electricity is around 27p per kilowatt-hour. Gas is around 7p. You do not need a degree in maths to work out which is cheaper! *Keep the gas cooker* and definitely keep the gas heating (until you can't get any more gas boilers - 2025 I think). Might even be worth considering the renewal of the gas central heating boiler in December 2024 depending on how things go between now and then!
Still, you are so right.I live in a 2 bed (5 man mock up) I spent £175 in this place as chunts here don't understand what it costs. No more. My Gym is 24/7, i'll sleep and wash there when it gets cold. We have old rotting windows, single pane (apart from the boarded up ones). £70 a week x 5. Living in a squat. Benefits pay for it but hey ho. Gas heating is pointless here.
