Hi,

I fitted a 50amp pull switch to my shower and when i turn the shower unit on the light on the pull switch goes out and there is no hot water in the shower. Please help >.<

Why did you change/fit the pullswitch in the first place ?
Are you sure you have ALL the wires securely in the correct terminals?
Was this a new pullswitch of reputable make?

wrong connection.
The light shouldn't be on in the first place for it to go off when you switch the pull switch on.

The OP didn't say the light went out when he switched the pull switch on, he said it went out when he switched the shower unit on.

I'd also say bad connection on isolator or further up the circuit.

guess you have supply / switch wire a**e about face.
That would only mean that the neon would never go out.

My money is on a dodgy connection at the switch....[/quote]

oh dear, major blonde moment

does the shower work when the neon is on, and is this when the rotary dial says it should be off?
