Hello
i have just recently fitted a mixer tap with a shower on a flexy coming off it. There is no pressure to the shower head from the hot tap though. This is confusing me because i have ample pressure to the taps but not even a trickle from the head. even if i remove the said flexy pipe its barely coming out.
at the minute my water system is:
no water tank in the loft,
water tank downstairs which heats up the water,
bath downstairs,
mains fed cold straight to the bath
my shower head will eventually be level with the tank but approximately 4 metres away.
bit that is confusing me is surely there's enough pressure in the tank to push the water through the mixer taps through the flexy and out the shower head even when the shower head is laid in the bath?!?
i don't mind fitting a pump but i don't know if this is needed or go straight for the unsightly approach of electric showers?
