NEED TO MOVE RADIATOR

I have put up new stud walls and the towel radiator does not reach the inlet pipes now. I need to extend the pipesout from the new wall by about 50mm out from the new wall. I cannot seem to isolate the water from that section of pipe so as I can cut and solder new extentions onto them. I really did not want to empty the whole heating system to do this. Is there another way to ge this job done.
