Need to put a Vent thru a Rubber roof

I have got a garage attached to the house. About 20 years ago, the roof covering was replaced with a rubber membrane.. It has been fine all these years.
Now, I need to put a vent for a tumble dryer through the roof.

I see you can get specialist vent pipes, are there any potential issues I need to watch out for?

Use the correct glue in the right conditions.
