Or you could just fit the gutter if that's easier.
 
Thanks. It's a massive job and the garages are so knackered all the wood has warped for them to be screwed into. Would cost a fair bit too.
 
Try the local council first then - Environmental Protection team. Allege Statutory Nuisance (EPA 1990). It has to be causing damage or a significant nuisance. If actionable, they will enforce it

Same team, and possibly faulty drainage under the Building Act.

Or its Solicitors under private nuisance and/or some specific land law duties to contain drainage run-off and not to flood adjacent land

Is there anything you could do to redirect the water, onto their property, so it becomes their problem?
