I'm wondering what would be good to stop any moisture making its way through my wall, if any..?

I have brought some bitumen paint, would that suffice?

Many thanks!

Looks like you`ve allowed enough membrane to come up the wall and tuck in under the DPC . Ordinary bitumen paint isn`t the stuff ,Synthapruf or similar is

There is enough membrane to tuck under the dpc until about half way along, as you can probably see, it didn't go down quite square

Was thinking about using the paint on the inside as well as out, and almost 'stick' the membrane to it whilst still wet..?

Thanks for the paint recommendation, I got this stuff from wickes, its 'cementone aquaprufe' - but i will certainly look for the stuff you've mentioned.

cheers
