How can it be money for old rope when a typical installation takes an hour per Nest and we have to travel say 30 min to get there and do parking and then return back for 30 min.

Most installers charge about £84 per Nest and that's for about two hours of our time.

Most solicitors charge £220 upwards per hour for work in their comfortable offices.

Accountants are more reasonable and start from about £90 per hour again in their office.

So Nest installers seem very reasonable to me by comparison.
