Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a bit of advice to help install my 3rd generation Nest heatlink & thermostat. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The boiler is located in the garage, the hot water tank is on the first floor and the header tanks are in the loft. The Drayton thermostat is located on the ground floor.

So, the heatlink will be replacing the current Danfoss CP 715 programmer. Please see photo for wiring, the N and L I'm guessing will transfer straight to the heatlink?

What I think from reading many many posts...

Heatlink:
N: Black (N on Danfoss)
L: Red (L on Danfoss)
1:
2: Link from L?
3: Blue (4 on Danfoss)
4: Red (1 on Danfoss)
5: Link from 2?
6:Yellow (3 on Danfoss)

I will be replacing the room Drayton thermostat in its current location, but I haven't really looked at this setup yet.

Thank you for any help or guidance.

Ok, so I went ahead and things are going in the right direction. The hot water is working but the call for the central heating isn't. The thermostat is not hard wired in yet, I am just using it from its stand. So I need to work out whether the old Drayton rts1 240v thermostats wiring can be used for the nest thermostat or whether I will need to remove it.
