I bought a printer thinking it had a socket for a networking cable so I could connect it with the router and then anyone could access it, but it only has a socket for a usb cable. Is there any way to connect it to the network?

can't do it with usb Eddie, printer and pc are in different rooms. laptops are wireless.

ok if you dont have a network printer (the price tag would have shown you...) then you have basically 2 options
1. on the pc to which the printer is physically attatched, share the printer on your network. The only disadvantage of this is that the pc with it connected must be turned on (not necesserally logged on) for others to print.
2. Buy a print server
3. take printer back and buy a proper network printer

ok thats 3 lol, option3 is best but also most expensive
