Figured I'd post here first in case I'm being dumb . Brand new beko oven. Fan, built-in. beko bxif 35300x. There are modes on the dial. Clockwise from top: Bulb, "defrost", "fan + steam clean", "grill" , "grill + fan"... Grill modes work fine but the main "fan" option (bottom/middle one) doesn't seem to get hot enough. You set it at 200 (for example) and about 30 seconds later it clicks off (the light goes out). Frozen chips that should take 20 minutes and be too-hot-to-touch are only a bit more than warm. No lights/settings are shown on the clock (i.e. timers) and I managed to find "ECO" mode in the menu and assert that it's off.

Am I doing it wrong or do I need to get a replacement?

edit: I tried the "defrost" option too just in case they were somehow swapped, no different

If you have read & followed the user instructions properly then you need to get a replacement. Or repair, which is probably what they will try & fob you off with but you are entitled to insist on a replacement if that is what you want.
