i will be moving into a new(old) house soon that requires a fair bit of work
inc new wiring and a new boiler (old floor standing potterton) and new rads.

what should i do first the boiler/CH system or the Re-wiring

Plumbing works, the boiler and associated controls will require wiring in anyway so you can book the sparky for the week after the plumbing work is finished, or get them both in together

DON'T get them in together. There could be trouble ahead
Suit yourself how you do it.
Heating guy will leave it the way it should be if in first and if spark in first get him to leave a new spur for planned heating.

Thanks for the replies will prob do heating first
As should be a quicker job

Heating first... that way the plumbers cant run their pipes across your neatly laid cables

yeah, plumbers first.. get them to screw the floorboards back down, not nail them..
makes it easier for the sparkies that way :)

of course that depends on if you will be plastering any of the rooms..
if you have to plaster then it's sparkies first, plasterer second and plumber 3rd.. that way the plasterer won't have to work round the rads or take apart your new heating system to get behind them..
