Good evening all
I am hoping someone out there can offer some advice

I have bought a replacement fan assembly for a stelrad ideal NF40. It's nearly I dentical to the existing one and was the correct part number, however There are a couple of differences.

The two electric connections on the existing one are horizontal (left and right) at the top of the motor but on the new one they are vertical down the right hand side (top and bottom).
is it as simple as rotating them both clockwise?

Also on the new one the earth cable seems to have just one location point yet on the old one there were two connection points (fan to metal casing of the assembly then onto the outer boiler case)
Was happy to fit it myself until wiring became different
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
Thanks

You'll not get an answer here. Post the question in the combustion chamber forum

Interesting....
You were willing to:-
remove the combustion chamber of your boiler

Remove a component that is part of combustion and connected to the flue

And with no means of testing.

But when it comes to attaching a couple of electrical spade connectors, that was a step too far
