New Boiler Size advice required

Dear All

I am conducting some research on the power of a new boiler I would require for my house. I havent calculated the BTU yet but am going to do that soon. The boiler will be required to power central heating for 5 bedrooms upstairs, 1 bathroom downstairs as well as a kitchen and 3 reception rooms

I need a systems gas boiler as I already have the hot water cylinder with my old boiler

What KW would be sutiable for the new boiler

Generally speaking one calculates the BTU output required first and then decide which boiler would suffice

The only way to know is to calculate the heat loss of your house!

Its a bit like telephoning a shop and saying you want to buy a mail order suit but you dont know your size!

approx 1.5kw per radiator
or use online boiler calc 30kw does all but the biggest houses
