I'm buying a circa 40 year old property which has central heating presumably powered by a British Gas 330+ boiler but there is also a Backersafe immersion heater. This was like my parent's setup decades ago.

I want to gut the property and redo the lot but in the UK, do we have a gas boiler that can deliver both hot water to the central heating system and unlimited multipoint hot water without loss of pressure to multiple bathrooms and sinks etc. ?

The property is on the first floor in a purpose built 2 storey building so I don't think there is a water tank, though I could be wrong.

Boiler is currently in the kitchen on the wall but I'd like to move it if possible into a cupboard or at least box it in.

Don't intend to any of this myself but I want some background knowledge before I go looking for the professionals.

If you want to deliver hot water to multiple outlets at the same time then your present setup may already be the optimal one for the property. Need to know more about the present hot water cylinder - Backersafe is literally just the brand name of the heating element, not the cylinder it is fitted to. The boiler may also be fine, depends on how well it has been looked after over the years

Do you mean the HW cylinder is heated only by the immersion, or (more likely) by the boiler via a primary coil in the cylinder? With a 3-port or two 2-port valves.
