New boiler

We have finally chosen to go with a Worcester Bosch Greenstar condensing boiler. We have an incoming water pressure of 14 litres/minute max. Can anyone tell me whether we go for the Greenstar 30 Si or Greenstar 30 CDi series, pro's and cons?

What does your CORGI registered installer have to say?

Since you have already decided to choose a Worcester boiler then that was a major decision to take.

Most people on this forum would prefer a Vaillant boiler.

Yes I meant flow, next door neighbour is an Instrument Engineer and borrowed a simple looking flowmeter from his co workshop

I doubt you used the meter correctly; 14l/min is very poor; are you sure your stopcock is fully open?

I'll check flow/minute again this evening, what should we consider as a reasonable flow?

If he really is an instrument engineer then he should be able to explain the importance of dynamis flow rate.

Whilst the open pipe flow rate is an indication it is not the whole story!

I have not heard much said ( actually nothing! ) about your CORGI registered installer!
