Silly question I'm sure. I've nearly finished my footings (yay!), so it's time to prep the oversite. Because a chunk of my oversite was old floor and loose top soil, current the middle of my trenches is very low.
Given I've got a pile of soil outside, can I use that to make up some height before I come to my 150mm+ of hardcore? If so, does it need compacting before putting down hardcore?
Haven't actually calculated how much height I need to make up if I'm honest, but I will do tomorrow if it's important
